Pittsburgh win in New York again to lead the series 3-1. My son says Lundqvist is pulling off some amazing saves but his defence is not helping him, Lyndhurst?

Agreed - Rangers had a strong start in the first round of play offs but they just didn't turn up for the last few games in this round. Gotta win the next one .......

Faced with elimination the Rangers had to win this 5th game, and they did in style with a convincing 5-1 win over the Penguins bringing the series back to 3-2. I'm always impressed with the stamina of these play off teams - imagine Brighton playing Derby 7 times with a day in between games ! I think they can still get through to the Conference Final. Busy Sunday with Brighton Derby at lunchtime then Rangers Penguins in the evening. Hoping for two wins.

I'm hoping for a win from your guys too, words can't describe how much I dislike the penguins. Pretty much have to watch the bruins games on mute when we play them due to how much smoke the commentators blow up there arses, least of all Sid the I'm the greatest hockey player in the world but rarely turn up to the big games kid!

Saw Chicago Blackhawks October last year, when there for the marathon. The build up was utterly amazing!

Back there this October, so hopefully there'll be a game on again. Patrick Kane looked amazing!

After the disappointing defeat by Derby and the rumours about Oscar Garcia nice to see my adopted team continue their amazing comeback. Rangers were 3-1 down in the series against the Penguins two games ago but following tonight’s 3-1 win they’ve got it back to 3-3. Lundqvist played a blinder for the last few minutes of the 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] period. If I was a Penguins fan I’d be pissed off being 3-1 up. Roll on game # 7 on Tuesday night

Back in Sussex
I was at game 2 at MSG and honestly thought Pittsburgh were lucky. Crosby scored a breakaway goal and the blueshirts did everything but score. Lundqvist is unbelievable - some of those saves tonight.

Like the above poster, I was pretty hacked off earlier today but this has cheered me up a bit.

Let's go Rangers!!!!

And we’re through to the East Conference Final against the Canadiens or Bruins !! Rangers beat the Penguins 2-1 in the 7[SUP]th[/SUP] game taking the series 4-3. Not bad considering at one time the Penguins were 2[SUP]nd[/SUP] favorites to win the Stanley Cup at 3/1 with the Rangers rank outsiders at 40/1. Lundqvist was outstanding again and Crosby just didn’t perform for the Penguins. Lots of action in the last 5 minutes with both McDonagh and Malkin sent off making it 4 on 4. Looks like Penguins coach Dan Bylsma is on the way out after tonight’s performance.

And in the 7th innings the Mets are hammering the Yankees 11-5 0h Yes !
