Football Manager has a network of over 1400 scouts around the world that help contribute and, a lot of the time, they're pretty spot on.

And how many players worldwide to be assessed? - how many times do they watch them and at what sort of intervals?

How would CMS be rated this season? How would Orlandi if they based it on his performance shortly after returning from injury against Derby and what if they based it on his good form last season, you'd get 2 completely different profiles and so on so it is down to luck of the timings of the scouting.

Its also then down to individual scouting assessments which may vary too, a players performance may be marked as an average of 7 another may give 8 and another may give a 6 and so on.
