seems he is in charge as OG seems clueless. We are mainly signing players that Jones has worked with and he does most of the club interviews when we know that OG can speak English

agree with this ,seems he has far too much influence with all first team matters ,

seems all our most recent transfers have worked with him previously... kind of makes me wonder if he is having more of a say than Oscar is

Agree with this. Plus most of the stuff he trots out in his pre/post match interviews give no indication whatsoever about what his approach is or was or how that approach succeeded or needs changing.

I often find myself wondering if there are two different views on who we select, how we set up and how we play and we end up with some weird sort of compromise which nobody wants.

Why does he do all the interviews ?

Have you seen Garcia do a post match interview ? He should register himself with the BMA as a cure for Insomnia.

Do any of the players have a lot of respect for Jones as they have all played at a much higher level and also Garcia who it seems would be hard pressed to inspire any sort of reaction from anyone ?

1) Sir Alex Ferguson was a shite player, yet that didn't seem to prevent him getting the most out of highly respected players.
2) Oscar Garcia played for Barcelona and Spain in the Olympics and has won major honours. And if a player can't respect someone like that, someone who has already won a league title cutting his teeth in management, and someone who has Johan Cruyff on speed dial, well who should they respect?

Yes but he started at the bottom (st Mirren), and worked his way up as a manager by winning things thus making him able to get the most out of highly respected players.

In Nathan Jones, we have have a bloke with short bloke syndrome, spliced with welshbloke syndrome, who as a player used to regularly cause 20 men brawls (but not be at the business end when it came down to it, leaving it to cullip, otway, carpenter et al), who blatenly cheated against Brighton when at the footballing powerhouse that is yeovil and is really at the club as a sweetner for being an ex-player and because he speak the lingo.
