I'll start..

1) watching Ravenelli (sp) warming up at Withdean when he played for Derby, running up and down the touchline (which resembled a bog back then)....how the mighty have fallen, poor bloke having to come to Withdean for his football

2) watching Jimmy Case getting sent off at Leicester in the League Cup (1994) and claiming that because he was deaf he hadn't heard the ref's whistle ;)

3) taking ectasy before a midweek game at the Goldstone, early 90s, and when we scored, instead of going mental in the North Stand, kinda just stood around taking all the sights in

Anyone else?

Thousands of people running onto the pitch on cue and tearing down the goalposts.

Apart from that the bloke trying to kick Ray Wilkins up the arse was pretty f***ing weird.

In a pile of football shirts
1. my first match at Gillingham, very very surreal, "what the f*** has happened to my Albion"

2. Hereford, can't even begin to explain, but until that goal went in I was completely emmotional, then the change in mood was unbeleivable

Went with me bruv to see Queens Park v Partick Thistle in a lowly Scottish League match at Hampden Park once. Capacity about 80,000, attendence about 400. The game was played in a snowstorm, and 398 spectators were doing the sensible thing and sheltering behind the goal where there was a roof. Whereas me and me bruv had one entire uncovered terraced side of Hampden completely to ourselves.

Palace vs Birmingham City

Brum had been relegated and all their lads turned up in fancy dress and proceeded to kick off.

Can remember seeing Hitler, a gorilla and a Nun beating up a Palace fan on the side of the pitch.

I once saw a bloke dressed as a banana get arrested at an away game at Bury.

Never seen it but heard about the end of season game, possibly at Selhurst Park, where the away fans (Coventry?) were still in fancy dress when it all kicked off on the pitch at the end. I'll always be haunted by the fact that I missed out on the sight of a Palace fan getting beaten up by two hirsute nuns, or a fat Vegas-era Elvis running after some hapless geek.

Ritchie, why is it ALWAYS FV with you?

Did you actually go to this game, or did you see clips on tv? Because if you are BHA, what were you doing at a Palace match? ???
