do not attempt to change our way of life.
Anyone would think we didnt have any doctors or f***ing nurses in this country before commonwealth immigration, the way some people on here labour the point.I agree. BUT - there are also a huge number of positives which the blinkered and xenophobic on here refuse to acknowledge. That is until their Muslim doctor gives them a life saving blood transfusion or some such.
get your head out of your arse PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE!!!!

This is an issue though. Surely if "they" are legally allowed to stay here, and are seen legally as being as British as you or me, THEIR way of life is just as important as yours and should be given level grounding. No?
I'd like to meet some these f***ing nurses.

i am chomping at the bit ,will take your adviceBushy, this weekend, just in case..........double bag it mate, some of the birds from the mill towns that surround me are a bit 'too' friendly, if you know what I mean, and you don't want to return down south with a present you didn't ask for![]()
There are Irish ghettos in Manchester and Liverpool that have been here for ages. If you go to the Cheetham Hill or Crumpsall area of Manchester with a foreskin you will stand out too!

My street has an ethnic proportion of 60% plus, or as the Evening Standard described it a few years ago.......................as one of the most desirable streets in north and east London.
The problem with nursing is that relatively few British people want to do it. Applications for nurse training are down 26% compared to 2003, so what is the solution?
Do we encourage more qualified overseas nurses to come here, or should we cut back on services?
i knew you wouldnt be able to resist mentioning that !! come on , lets see how you can work a shooting or two into the threadStill not aware of any ghetto's, yes we have areas with large ethnic populations but that doesn't correlate with ghetto. To me a ghetto is an area: of extreme poverty, poor housing, possibly enclosed and/or very marginalised from mainstream society.
The closest cousins to this in the UK are the sink estates but they are hardly ghetto's.

I thought that was because you lived there though......![]()
