Surely the same could be said of the Respect Party, Greens, Socialist Workers or Monster Raving Loonies, each of whom have manifestos that fail the test of modern day finance and economics.

I’m not a racist by any stretch of the imagination and would never condone some of the anti-migration sentiments on here but migration only really has a negative effect on the working classes, whether it be taking jobs, pushing down wages or putting more pressure social housing.

Some of the people on this thread and one person in particular, are probably more vocal about this issue because it has direct consequences for them and the problem is on their doorstep. Anyone who truly believes that there hasn’t been a negative effect as a result of Labour’s policies on migration, I believe doesn’t really live in the real world.

I agree. BUT - there are also a huge number of positives which the blinkered and xenophobic on here refuse to acknowledge. That is until their Muslim doctor gives them a life saving blood transfusion or some such.
