Brighton have submitted new bid worth £20m plus £5m in add-ons to Shakhtar Donetsk for centre-back Mykola Matviyenko. #BHAFC Shakhtar Donetsk always asked £35m fee for the centre-back. Brighton priority is to add another centre-back before window closes. Talks ongoing.
Don't think they are a particularly reliable source though...

£35M? I thought Shaktar's price was always £20M, and we weren't getting anywhere because we were only offering £16M. £35M sounds like a bit - well, actually qute a lot - of gazumping by Shaktar.
