Yes, we've made a profit. We can afford to do a lot of things, but PB will still not want to waste a penny. That's why we made £200M.But if the algorithm still says O'Riley is going to be worth quite a lot more then breaking even or a modest profit isn’t going to tempt the club into a hasty sell. It’s not as it is in need of relative shall change because over the last two seasons it has made £200m profit:
No change of policy at all. Dahoud, Jahanbakhsh, Tau, Andone, Locadia, Barco ............ O'Riley wouldn't be any different.This suggests that the Brighton hierarchy are very happy with the squad we have and as there is no pressure to sell any player why would longstanding transfer policy be ripped up just to get rid of O’Riley? The same reason we bought him still apply: he has got potential.
