Not sure how serious it was because Lineker said that he changed his mind at the last minute so untill then it was unanimous. That's why Lineker picked it.

The Arsenal goal shouldn’t have been top 3 anyway, a selection based purely on the context and not the goal itself. If that goal makes a 3-0 game a 4-0 one it’s never mentioned again.
