In a cave
I see Ponting found our bowling so laughable he got himself out so he can watch with disbelief (from behind the safety of the boundary ropes) at our pie chuckers!

138/3 and Surrey BREEZING along at nearly 3 an over now, showing just why it is so clear that the table is temporarily upside down.

138/3, the sun is out, the ball's getting old and the table is set fair. Mr. Solanki is just loosening his belt a notch and tucking in his napkin as Anyon prepares to bowl another over...

"Solanki just having another sip of Sauternes. He puts the glass down behind the stumps and gets ready once again to face Panesar"

Meanwhile, Essex have smashed their way to 20/8 in their second innings against Lancashire.
To be fair, that is not a bad effort against Lancashire...

Spoke to soon. It's 20/9 now. Would be the 2nd lowest score for 74 years if that wicket fell now.

Mickleburgh the man to go. Lancs will be relieved. He was the danger man, as he had scored half of the runs.

It's at times like this you really miss Mushy. Monty is very hit and miss, whereas Mushy was like a bird with big tits and a rubber glove, i.e. guaranteed to get the job done.

Apparently all out for 20 now - must be a decent wicket for Lancashire to concede that many.

If it wasn't for Mickleburgh's battling 10 that could have been a right old mess for Essex v Lancashire.
