7 goals in open play from 60-odd games. A scoring rate worse than Mark McCammon's at the Albion.

Its better then being one of the PLEBS who think we should keep McGhee.

That's Richie Morris for you.Fatboy Quim said:so sticking up for a disruptive little shit who no longer plays for the club, and had no pride or passion in representing the Albion is better than getting behind our current manger who does exemplify those traits.
well done mate - good point.

Fatboy Quim said:but he's "better than Jermain Defoe" (his words) surely he could have made a few chances for himself.
I think fair enough for him getting the hump with Jackett subbing him. That must put Defoe ahead of him in Sven's plans for Germany
London Irish said:How is he THRIVING at Swansea then?
SurreySeagulls said:But the twat was savey enough to be in the centre of the team picture celebrating winnin the League Trophy over Carlisle. He is a complete and utter prized twat who's career is going down hill and he will soon be seen in an updated version of Different Strokes. whadya talking about Willis

Fatboy Quim said:I haven't seen that.
I have seen the manager react to appalling personal abuse - which i would guess that he probably regrets after the heat of the moment. - this is a regretteble situation but i won't condemn him for it. Give me another example of McGhee acting like a "spoilt brat" - as much as i appreciate Leon's contribution to our promotion season, there were examples of his petulance almost weekly.
other than that I have only ever perceived McGhee as a manager exemplifying uncompromised commitment to the club both on and off the pitch, in the face of a fair amount of adversity
Repugnant Toad said:Bonus points if you can fit a belittling reference to his goal against Rhyl in your answer ...
Uncle Buck said:I was referring to post Wolves at home where McGhee said via the press he would not pick Leon until after he apologised. I have said it before, Knight was in the wrong, but McGhee should have kept the issues inhouse and not used the Argus to make his point.
The Large One said:How about the fact he is an irrelevance to today's club insofar as he doesn't play for us any more? Yet some people just want to hang on to him and revere him as their icon against all things McGhee because just he scored 28 goals in a division he has now found his level in?
Whoopy-f***ing-shit. If ever there were people who have become stuck in the division below us from two years ago, this is it. We had our time, and now it's over. Move on with what we've got now, you sad bastards.
London Irish said:He'd been keeping the problems with Knight's deplorable attitude to training and teamwork "in-house" for years, so much so that we had little suspicion of the problems previously.
If you are going to drop a player for disciplinary reasons, you have to level with the fans. Someone like you would have been the first to complain if McGhee had refused to answer any questions about why Knight was not picked for the next game.
Yes indeedy, a case of one stat (Knight's) heavily influencing the other (McGhee's).FalmerforAll!** said:But thats like McGhee's win record!![]()
