If he's going out on a season long loan then I'd rather he was playing every game for a conference team than sitting on the bench and getting 5-10 minutes here and there for a L2 team.

I suspect he has been promised first team football every week ? John Still is the manager there so plenty of experience there ... plus there are some pretty decent teams in the Vanarama...

Another goal for him on Saturday as well ...

NSC didn't appreciate that many tweets in one post, obviously.

Best prospect for me, but havent seen him for while, the club seemed to go cold on him but without seeing him perhaps for good reason, if he is as good as I recall and he seems to be impressing at a good level then nothing to stop him, real chance.

Very tidy. Wouldn't look out of place at any level that strike. We do seem to have done pretty well with the development of JMD.

Looking the part on BT Sport currently against Wrexham. Good range of passes including a clever chip to set up the first goal and a great corner delivery for the 2nd. Wrexham woeful.

Even better to play every game for a L2 team............................................

Seems to be doing well at Daggers, though. Get him back in January in case we can't persuade anyone to sell us a fourth striker?

Definitely not. He is only 19 and regular gametime under a manager as experienced as Still in a tough physical division is perfect for him.

What has being 19 got to do with it? Answer: nothing at all (see, for example, Rooney, Owen, Walcott, Rashford, Dunk and plenty of others).

Some players develop before others. He has only played in the u21 league before this season against a bunch of kids. Despite those players you listed, there are far more who haven't developed fully when they are 19.

No harm in trying him. No use just keeping all our U23 players in the junior ranks until they are.......err......23.

I understand both points and I am a fan of JMD, I don't think his physical development is in question he has always been advanced for his age physically, but I am not too sure how the club rate him, I debated that Worthing was not better than playing for the U21 (last season) and perhaps it showed an indifference from the club towards him, this loan is slightly tougher to gauge, its a good level of football and might add something that the current u23's cannot, so maybe something to gain for everyone involved.

On a wider point I am not an advocate that somehow players need to experience part time football, played by part time players, run by part time managers and coaches with dubious tactical, technical and physical attributes, it is too often filed away under, 'proper football', 'winning mentality', 'mens football' etc etc. with a budget of £2.5 million per annum you would hope that Academy's could create an environment far better than the ones they then feel obliged to loan their players out to, I cannot think of another Industry where if you have an employee of some potential you demote them in the hope they improve.
