At fault / should have done better with all three of Real Madrid's goals. As usual the commentators dont mention it as they love the myth that "England has the best keepers in the world"

Think I mentioned on another thread tonight- they suggested earlier he's the best keeper in the world. When in fact he wasn't even the best one on the pitch.

I'm not listening to the commentary as I have the radio on from Vicarage Road, but surely he could have done better with the two goals I did see (have missed the third).

Are you all serious? Hart was immense tonight, made countless saves all of the highest quality; no way was he at fault for the goals either, best keeper in the world

West, West, West Sussex.
Best keeper England have had since Seaman. Didn't react for the third because he didn't expect Kompany to duck out the way.

Anyway who gives a , because Brighton have won away!

Just noticed the second was a deflection, which may have made it look worse for Hart than it actually was. But no professional keeper wants to be beaten at his near post like he was for the third.

One of the most moronic posts i have seen on this site, Hart was a monster tonight and is clearly a superb goalkeeper!

Are you his dad? Look at all three goals and say that with a straight face!

I'm sure his Dad would be far more critical than me.

First goal took a deflection, he was saving it before then; plus it was a great strike.

Second goal was impeccably placed into the corner, no chance of saving it.

The last was Kompany's fault, he moved out the way of the ball, by then the ball was to low down for Hart to react.

I don't see how you can blame him?

Roy Keane broken ranks and blames Hart for the second. Southgate carries on and criticises Hart for the third... they got there in the end

Hart wasn't at fault for any of the goals. He was fantastic tonight in the face of constant pressure. He deserves no criticism tonight.

This. He was SUPERB this evening, stopped Madrid countless times with some world class saves. Anyone who thinks he didn't play well know little about football. Ronaldo and Benzema's finishes were superb, the Marcelo goal was deflected.

First was deflected over him, second was a worldie hit very early and an inch inside the post. Even the third, Kompany ducks under at the last second. That's the ONLY one that could genuinely be attributed to him but even that was hardly a clanger. He pulled off half a dozen or more world class saves tonight. Have no affection whatsoever for Citeh but he was superb.

Guessing you didn't notice the massive dip, courtesy of the sublime technique of comfortably the 2nd best player in the World?

Was going start a thread saying just how good he was tonight when I saw this one. Beggars belief, probably City's MoM bar Yaya.

 Oh dear. Hart was brilliant tonight - some super saves & keeping. Yes, maybe he should have done better with the last, but it was kompany who should have easily cleared ronaldo's shot. He is a truly brilliant keeper - easily the eat since seaman. All oter current English keepers are shite in comparison.
