If he goes there, it feels like he will be stuck there. Whereas one more season at Brighton, and he might have a few more (appealing) choices.

Yep I'm told by a Newcastle fan that they have a lot of headroom this summer as their initial Saudi splurge disappears from the equation. Doesn't mean they're getting Van Hecke though
