Is there any chance of Monday's game being postponed due to the storm?

So if 15, 000, 000 trees come down, like in '87, a lot of them on the railway line, presumably you will be out there clearing them?:facepalm:

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if your dilapidated stadium was damaged by the winds.

Do you know what hyperbole means?

It says gusts of 85mph.

Really ? Currently says gusts of 35mph. The game will be on, the worst of the weather is the early hours of Monday and any disruption from then SHOULD be cleared by the afternoon.

Amended Southern timetable for trains will take the football into account.

....or is the Sky TV Money more important to the club than the safety of fans travelling to the Game?

The club ARE NOT responsible for your safety when travelling to and from a football match, YOU ARE.

It's at times like these that persons that have chosen dull, administrative jobs in Public Service get overexcited at the rare opportunity to demonstrate their powers of caution and overreaction to promote fuel their own misguided levels of self importance : Beware they're preening themselves for tomorrow

My mate got a plum job because he was the only one to turn up for interview the day after the great storm.

Perhaps, if you make it to the Amex, Oscar will hand you a shirt and say "we need you! "?

The clubs main concern is how severely the transport will be affected, they have little worry that the storm will actually affect the game.

I predict Game Off - carnage with the transport infrastructure (which is a rough translation of - we have too many injuries and would prefer to play it later in the season)
