Harding needs a rest - he's a young guy, been elevated to the U21s, has started to believe he is a better player that he actually is, and his form has subsequently suffered. He took his goal well last week but that covered up another mediocre performance.

As for Watson, NO! Did well delivering free kicks to BZ a few years ago, but not at this level.

Won't be surprised if Mayo, Watson, Hart and Jones get released, although I'd love KM and OGH to stay.

Reid is doing OK at RB.

Reid is ok in the 5-3-2 system but a real right back he's not. Never makes a tackle.

If I'd played like him at AMATEUR level I'd be a laughing stock. I know he's young but he won't sign a contract with so I can't help but get wound up when he plays shit.

I reckon i have seen about 5-6 goals this season alone where harding is at fault for goals. he cost us both goals, he is USELESS, and i have always said this.

Reading through these posts from so called Albion fans I don't know how you guys haven't topped yourselves.

It's a well known fact that the club matches the label on the front of the teams' shirts. Money wise we're almost out of business.

Three bastards sold our home and we are in the same boat as those individuals selling the Big Issue. Getting our own home seems light years away.

Now according to you footballing experts our players are pants, worst than amateur novices, crap, shite, medically unfit, limp tackling, over rated, a joke, useless, not capable of tackling, not fit to play at the current league level, mediocre, etc., etc., etc.

It is difficult sometimes to believe that this is a Brighton fans' board. It resembles a Palace, or a Portsmouth, or a Cardiff outlet more often than not.

I've got a message for you all. GO AHEAD, JUMP OFF OF THAT CLIFF. DRAW THAT SHARP BLADE ACROSS THAT VEIN IN YOUR WRIST. SWALLOW THE WHOLE BOTTLE OF THOSE PILLS. Well, we've got no chance of survival, have we?

After you've gone there might just be time, for those who survive you, to witness the selling of Brighton's best young prospect for decades to be sold to another team in our league for £400K. Whilst we will all lament his departure he will become a man of steel.

Just because people do not think Harding is any good does not mean they do not know anything about football.

Here is a list of why I do not think he is very good.

1. His positioning and marking is simply not good enough.
2. He lacks physical strength and this is not because of his age.
3. He lacks conviction in his own play. He never looks like he is convinced he is going to beat someone or win a tackle and subsequently he rarely does.
4. He cannot head the ball.
5. He has poor concentration and often leaves players unmarked because he is ball watching.
6. He is a bit to prone to poorly timed tackles because he is slow to react to situations.
7. He gives the ball away far too much with a prime example being the home game against Swindon in the play offs when they scored their second goal.

If mcghee drops him that may shed off any interest :nono:

we NEED to get rid of him, he is costing us goals, and he can also bring in a few 'k. i would take anything around 200k+

I would take anything. He will leave us anyway when his contract is up.

If he goes to another club then I honestly wish him all the best and hope he becomes a decent player. Its nothing personal against him I just think he is crap.

Hang on. I have only just realised the magnitude of what Waterhall Wizard said:

"Whilst we will all lament his departure he will become a man of steel."

Yeah. I can really see Harding as the new Stuart Pearce :lolol:

And Waterhall Wizard says WE are the ones who do not know anything about football.:lolol:

I thought (7) was Charlie Oatway ?

(Not sure though.)

Most of the criticisms could apply to about just about every player, notably Danny Cullip and Alexis Nicolas.

On the plus size Danny Harding does seem to have a change of pace, quite fast, quick recovery speed, and a certain doggedness which makes him a full back and nothing else much.

I prefer Adam Hinshelwood, but Hinsh has a wider range of skills that makes him suitable for a more central role.

And the other one, Adam Virgo, I have him pegged as a midfielder.

Undecided really on all three. I would not like any of them to go cheaply to local rivals.

How about yours?

Since when have you had to be an experienced coach to make a comment on a footballer?

I know someone who has years of experience at coaching and who publically blamed Harding for both the goals on Saturday...MARK MCGHEE!

He took his goal well last week
Yes he did.

However, he was very lucky that the ball went ricocheting around the penalty area before it bounced off a Rotherham player and landed at his feet. If it had been played forward to him by an Albion player, the goal would have been disallowed for offside.

My source for this version of what happened ... none other than Dan Harding himself.

Whatever else, he's not someone to crow about it being "goal of the season", when it plainly wasn't.

Incidentally, the other piece of information I got from Dan H was that ALL of the moaning about players that comes from the South Stand can be clearly heard on the pitch.

It does prey on players' minds and it doesn't help the performance.
