Of course you won't see Palace fans criticising administration because it gives them the chance to big up their achievements funded by the taxman. I realise that opposition to Football's treatment of clubs in admin is not going to change anything, let's hope that HMRC finally exercises its muscle in the same way it would for anyone else that doesn't pay their way.

And we still don't like it.

" The south London club called time on its current round of financial fluctuations last week after wracking up debt of £32m. £20m of that is owed to club chairman Simon Jordon, with £4m due to Agilo, the hedge fund, and HMRC waiting to recoup around £2m. Football creditors – players and management – have registered an outstanding £1.5m. "

Crystal Palace Football Club - receiving handouts from the British Taxpayer since 2010...............

While there ask to see the 3 Championship trophies that were won there - something that no one under the age of 20 has ever seen at Selhurst.

Impossible, they've only ever won 2 divisional championships......and a full members cup, mickey mouse trophy for a mickey mouse club.

Can we stop banning people please? It's not conducive to creating a good NSC. By all means ban racists, bigots, sexists or people that are simply breaking the law, but guys like this that have written a fairly humorous mickey take, why should they be banned?

If any CPFC fan knew their history, they'd know that Withdean was just as famous pre WW2 for it's Tennis facilities as it was for BHAFC between 1999-2011.

And the valley was a popular venue long before the idea of the Tennis Club was ever thought of as it was originally the playing field for Brighton and Hove Grammar School (the photo below thought to be around 1912 and taken on a sports day).

If you know your history

never forget, that whilst playing in the WORST football 'ground' England has ever seen, Albion payed off everyone they owed money to. From the fans pockets, from the people in charge's pockets.

Never went into administration. Not once. Twice would have been ridiculous.

Second worst ... you forgot Selhurst

Agree with this. Definitely not worth a ban (IMO).

Petition @bozza to change the current rules then.

Not sure why you put the @ before his username, notifications don't work and it's spelt wrong anyway if lower or upper cases have a bearing.

And for what it's worth, I found it quite amusing and to be brutally honest, not too far from the truth.

We need to get the chip van back and I'd definitely take a tour for old times sake,

The tour also needs to happen only on days when the weather is awful so visitors can truly experience the atmosphere. Free white ponchos for fans of away clubs but home fans can get charged a quid too. I'm sure that happened a few times.

And can we get that steward with the massive ginger sideburns who used to stand at the bottom of the hill by London Road? I see him doing bouncer duties at a gay/tranny bar in St James St now but he's wasted there.

I was there, were there really 12.5k present? I don't remember it being that full. Still if it was in '85 I was only 4 so that might be why.

The turnout was due to the match being mentioned in Gridiron UK and Touchdown magazines. Had it only been mentioned in The Argus the crowd might have reached 2,000 , a few hundred more than a regular B52's game.
