The NSC hive mind seems to be gradually shifting to believing they will be kicked out rather than just chuckling at the very notion. This is setting people up for a needlessly disappointing blow and some anger when a solution is fudged together. I say it is much better to stick with the earlier position and giggle at the Croydon Clown Collective but expect nothing better.
Absolutely. It's a fun diversion, but there's no way in hell we're playing in Europe next season at the expense of our arch rivals because of an administrative oversight.
It would be far too funny.

My position on it has moved from about 90/10 that they will be allowed in, to about 60/40. That's mainly because of the Drogheda precedent - Uefa have proved they're not afraid to disqualify teams who break the rules. I still think Palace will squirm their way out of it, but it's highly amusing they're having to go through this.

Reading Drogheda's statement after they lost their CAS appeal, it doesn't really bode well for Palace. I still think they'll be OK, but can understand why they are worried.
Lots of engagement with UEFA, 'constructive' dialogue, various proposals, and the 'support of the football world' all in the end counted for nothing:
"We had hoped and believed that the principles of fairness and common sense would prevail. After months of engagement, constructive dialogue, countless hours of legal preparation, and multiple proposals based on frameworks that have been accepted in the past, we have come up short. Despite genuine and vocal support across the football world, the ruling did not fall in our favour. We are heartbroken by the outcome."

The Drogheda result only really serves to underline that the March deadline is to be applied so subsequent 'fixes' will not be accepted. It was very clear that they were in an MCO, with their majority owners also owning a large majority of another club.
Palace's argument is that they are not actually in a MCO, as Textor does not have sufficient control of Palace, however this is very much up for debate, largely because the EUFA rules are rather open to interpretation, and also because Textor's voting rights vary between different type of company motions. I imagine EUFA are going through the motions right now...
