Clever tactic there – change your name so people think it's someone else. Why hasn't Joint Texture thought of that ruse, eh?
Absolutely :ROFLMAO:. The same point being made by @Giraffe above, and many other contributors no doubt.

A declaration that Tony Bloom has no influence, as it was all handed over to his known associate Alex Muzio, was clearly not enough for UEFA in 2023. Hence the transparent restructuring via Companies House. Who could argue against UEFA coming to that decision? I'm sure Tony Bloom didn't. Common sense.

Now we have common sense as well as logic in the mix. Only going to end badly.

I like the idea of a 2-leg play off before the competition even starts. It’s not as if our form fell of a cliff once we started the group stage and squeezing the extra 6 fixtures into the autumn schedule. They’ll be fine with an additional 2.

Have they been active in the transfer market yet? As far as I can tell their squad has about as much depth as the toddler pool at Center Parcs.

I’m up to date with the Wolves joke on this thread but what’s the deal with EUFA instead of UEFA?
Palace have created so much drama out of what should have been a fairly straight forward process it’s being made into a movie and is favourite in the European University Film Awards.

The NSC hive mind seems to be gradually shifting to believing they will be kicked out rather than just chuckling at the very notion. This is setting people up for a needlessly disappointing blow and some anger when a solution is fudged together. I say it is much better to stick with the earlier position and giggle at the Croydon Clown Collective but expect nothing better.
Yep. It will be interesting to read UEFA's ruling.

How meta can we make these in jokes? We have gone from Wolves into Europe to the humorous mispronunciation of our former manager. There must be more levels deep we can go to mystify the unknowing.

I think that this is the main problem for Palace.

Several clubs have now had to change their structures to abide by EUFAs rules, including our own Tony Bloom. Even if EUFA decide that Palace will be allowed to compete in the Europa League, I can see a lot of very disgruntled multi club owners who have previously abided by the rules, and these gentlemen are aren’t likely to take EUFA backtracking for Palace lying down.

U-E-F-A.

UEFA.

Thank you for pointing that out.

It’s some kind of mental block, I think.

Or it’s, subconsciously, I can’t stand the idea of Palace being in Uerope.

I put EUFA in a post a few days ago.
It was a simple and genuine error on my part.

But I am of course gratified if it triggered knowing smirks at my high-end comedy.
