Which would be reasonable given the owner had actively complied with the rules.Yes. If any team should be pushing UEFA it's Forest.

It's interesting. Reading that article, it seems like there's almost no avenue available for Palace to compete in Europe this season, and yet I'm 100% convinced that they'll find a way![]()
Crystal Palace’s Europa League place in doubt after Uefa rejects owners’ blind trust move
Uefa has rejected offers from Palace co-owners John Textor and David Blitzer to put their shares in a blind trust so the club can compete in Europe next seasonwww.theguardian.com
Bye bye Nigel
He'll only do this if it means UEFA keep Palace in the Europa.Textor will sell his shares to his mates. Nothing to see here.
What I like about that is that it's literally all made up.Snapshots from the BBS attached. Is there any reason to believe the stuff about Bloom? Only adding fuel to the rivalry either way.

And Denmark '92?Brighton would be one of the favourites to win the Conference League. That would be hilarious if it happened without being originally qualified.
It happened before when Greece won the Euros in 2004.
I wouldn't worry about that. We've got the squad to cope with the teams we'd face for most of this seemingly unlikely campaign. In fact, it could help getting players like Enciso to sign contract extensions as we'd be able to guarantee a lot more game time.(The ironic thing is I actually didn’t want us to get Europe in the end, and rather let Fab build and develop the squad)
What! It wasn’t Greece in 2004?Apparently Denmark qualified for the 1992 Euros at someone else's expense and won it

Yes I was going to say something similar, I feel if this was an easy “they’re in” then it would be done and dusted by now. The fact it’s dragging out suggests something’s up.Anyone else puzzled about how long this is dragging out, when some very confident folk from Croydon were telling this was a complete non-story?
I’m assuming there are multiple lawyers involved - as one of the potentially affected parties is Marinakis, I can imagine they are being extra careful to get all their ducks in a row.Yes I was going to say something similar, I feel if this was an easy “they’re in” then it would be done and dusted by now. They need to pull their finger out and get it done, there are three clubs (Palace, Forest and us) with skin in the game.
I’m not puzzled about the length of time to get a decision - (they only qualified against most expectations a few weeks ago - so I suppose a blink of an eye in UEFA time zone - it’s not like they’ve been in the top 6/7 for months.)Anyone else puzzled about how long this is dragging out, when some very confident folk from Croydon were telling this was a complete non-story?
