How do we stand with bloom owning chunks of USG and Hearts ?

if we had got into the CL a would we have also had to step aside for USG?
Tony disentangled from USG ages ago. I presume he's done the same with Hearts.

I’m not so sure Uefa will dodge a decision if it’s a legitimate issue. Seems like a perfect opportunity to show the rules exist for a reason. Hard for them to slap down clubs like City and PSG with unlimited wealth to fund legal battles. Easier to make an example of a club like Palace. Interesting couple of weeks to come.

Can’t see it myself.

Palace in their usual slimy way, will somehow get away with it….

I really don't understand why a deadline of 1st March was set to sort out control issues of clubs in the same competition.

It's ridiculous to insist that setting up blind trusts, share sales etc have to take place before a club either qualify or know if there may be a conflict.

If a politician is appointed as a minister it is at that point external financial conflicts have to be sorted.

Still, "rules are rules", even if they are crazy ones.

Just wondering if it would be an option for palace to liquidate and the. Immediately become CPFC2025 with a new ownership structure while holding on to their premier and Europa league status?

The added bonus is they could not bother to pay local creditors.

Chrystal Palace 4eva (or at least until they need a reboot).

I'm liking this pic. Could become a meme.

Because the influence applied by the owner could begin before they qualify I guess?
