I very much doubt that.

He's a businessman. A fan of money and power, not Crystal Palace.
Yes, seems unlikely. But he does desperately want OUT, as shown by his attempts to buy Everton last year, during which he claimed he had a couple of buyers lined up for his 45% stake in Palace. He ended up getting gazumped by Friedkin Group anyway, but it goes to show that shifting his shareholding is not very straightforward. And the clock is ticking down...

It also shows he's not in love with Palace and therefore less likely to sell at a reduced rate just to let them play in Europe.

it was at palace's expense wasn't it? Palace finished third or something and Denmark, Liverpoool and faEu connived together to deny Palace their shot at the world cup.
The other notable thwarting of P***** was their hosting of the 1942 World Cup.

Germany, Brazil and P***** applied to host the tournament and P***** got the nod.

Germany’s next move prevented what would otherwise have been a pyro-ridden tournament taking place in SE25.

Eric Cantona was probably behind it all.
It was him and a teenage Tony Bloom who were the puppet masters. The conspiracy reached the highest echelons of the royal family and the Illuminati.

It was and continues to be an enormous cover up. Proof of the size of the conspiracy is that the lamestream media NEVER mention it. Not once. Not one single mention of the cover up in 35 years. :nono:

There’s a fair amount of chat online that even if they drop out Europa they would take the conference league spot and Brondby miss out, as dropping from a higher competition trumps league position…..

League position trumps a Cup win is my understanding. ???

They aren’t dropping from a higher competition though. They will have been banned from that competition so it will revert to league position as they never actually entered the Europa League.

Not sure he did cheat to be fair. The issue is incompetent officials that essentially bottled it
Of course he cheated, to not see the act of cheating is very naive, if any player deliberately stretches his/her hand out to change the direction of the ball outside the confines of the defensive teams penalty area is deemed an offence, to prevent an opposing players ability to reach the ball by doing so is likely to prevent a scoring opportunity then the offending player should be in all cases removed from the field of play for the duration of the match remaining…..
Blatant Cheating
Blatant incompetence by the referee and linesman in not recognising the action
Criminal incompetence by the off field reviewing team IMHO. Like

Look mate, quit with the whataboutery. The whole world could see Haaland was through on goal, he was going to get to the ball first. Henderson knew that so he intentionally handled the ball outside the area to prevent a goal - that's cheating.

There was nothing accidental about it, the keeper had time to decide what he was going to do. All the pundits agreed at h/t he should have seen red, and then it would have been a different game.

Bottom line - you won the FA Cup, Glasner sussed O'Reilly was not a left-back and targetted him in the first half, his tactics were spot on and you executed a defensive masterclass. Fair play to Palace, as beating Villa then Citeh is not easy.

But however much you don't like it, nothing will take away from the fact the officials made one of the biggest howlers in Cup Final history, your keeper cheated and should have been sent off. They say you need luck to win the Cup and Palace are living proof of that.
But you are ignoring the point that all players cheat, and some get away with it. Can you seriously hand on heart tell me that no Brighton player has ever cheated, whether caught or not? All players do it, bernardo dived and got away with it, Henderson handled the ball and got away with it
