Palace's argument will be that their ownership structure does not FLAUNT the rules, thus they did/do not need to make any adjustments.I think that this is the main problem for Palace.
Several clubs have now had to change their structures to abide by EUFAs rules, including our own Tony Bloom. Even if EUFA decide that Palace will be allowed to compete in the Europa League, I can see a lot of very disgruntled multi club owners who have previously abided by the rules, and these gentlemen are aren’t likely to take EUFA backtracking for Palace lying down.
By my reading of the UFEA document, sadly they're probably correct.
