If two years ago, TB hadn't reduced his shares and changed the ownership structure in USG, would Palace fans have said that we should be allowed to play? Especially IF they were in line to take our European place?
That's correct. However they wouldn't have had any interest other than our own discomfort as there's no way they are anywhere near European places. Ha!

Is there a livestream of the meeting?

(Asking for a friend... I'm not really that bothered whether Palace might lose their first ever chance of Europe and this result in us getting to go ourselves. I agree with the people saying that, whilst they understand the so-called "rivalry", on this occasion they genuinely wish Palace and their fans all the best.)

Is there anyone going to be anyone actively trying to prevent palace from qualifying, i.e. palace shouldn't qualify because they don't meet the requirements, but we do so we should?

"On the one hand, it feels emotionally instinctive to root for Palace. On the other, it’s hard not to look at UEFA and their rules and wonder: If not now, then when?"

"If Palace are to be the ones finally stuck fast then it’s hard not to feel a little sympathy."

It would obviously be very hard, but you know, I think I'd manage it. ;)

"If they are now to be denied entry into this particular European competition, then it’s perfectly OK to feel regretful about it, especially given the way other bigger and maybe slightly smarter English clubs have escaped such sanction."

Of course UEFA will roll over, but it's pleasing to see that winning a trophy hasn't changed them. They will always be the clown show we know and love to hate. :ROFLMAO:

I really don't like the idea of getting into Europe on a technicality but, if it were to happen

I'd still be laughing as we kicked off next season :lolol:

I'm a bit late to the party, if Palace or whoever can't get the correct paperwork in place and in time and have breached the rules they should be punished.
At all levels clubs have broken rules and been penalised, look at the Jersey, Redhill and Whyteleafe fiasco with club's fielding suspended players, the league made the right decision hitting the club's who had broken the rules. Harsh but if it's the rules that's it.
It is what it is!
