As most Victoria station users will know, there is a small time delay before the doors open when the train gets in.

Occasionally, we have a guard (are they still called that?), who announces over the intercom, that this is "Due to the satelite navigation system"

This MUST be a newbies wind-up surely ?

It's true all train have sat nav now and when they arrive at Victoria it loses the connection hence the delay in opening the doors as the driver has to tell the train where it is.

In my experience, anyone who studies accountancy at uni fails to become an accountant anyway. The degree is no preperation at all to qualify fully or actually work

Fair enough, I just find it highly amusing that something that runs along a track needs sat nav.
