shh its the prem! and 18 mill in transfer window is hardly gonna send us back into admin, how are albions finances at the moment? worry about your own club

18m PLUS much bigger wages on toilet players equals very bad times if you go down. Look at Wolves, Bolton, Blackburn etc. No chance are they getting back up before the money dries up. You'd have thought Palace would have learnt though having gone bust twice following exactly the same strategy. How much is actually going to be left to sort out your disgusting stadium if you get relegated?

What a total waste of a Premiership place. I'm not saying we'd have stayed up, but we'd at LEAST have had a bit of a go at it.

Wurzels mob have ponced a flukey ticket to the Ball, then gone shopping at the last knockings of the jumble sale down at the local Heart Foundation, thrown together a truly tragic outfit (and paid a STUPENDOUS amount for half of it), chucked some of it away without even using it, and are now parading themselves around in front of the proper Premier League teams in a desperate attempt to try and "fit in". Now everyone is turning up at their gaff genuinely embarrassed to have to be seen playing there.

It would be funny, if it wasn't so crushingly pitiful.

complete gibberish

Allowing the bumpkin to SQUANDER £18m on very average players is a lovely signpost as to where Palace are heading with their windfall... 25 players on Premier League wages, some piecemeal improvements to Selhurst, and Palace will be back where they belong before you know it...

Spot on Easy.

The Prem finally rid themselves of Wigan and get Palace in their place. Another shit team who can't fill their stadium. They must have been pulling their hair out when we & Leicester flunked the play offs.

Everyone knew Palace would be an embarrassment off the pitch but I really thought they might give it a go on it. Apart from an under performing Man Utd they have had the most easy opening fixtures you could hope for - everything in their favour (Spurs without Bale, Swansea out on their feet due to Thursday European away game, etc, etc) and still they can only manage to beat Sunderland.

Fortress Selhurst my arse !

the best redevelopment of the ground they can do is make the goals smaller, or make the pitch 500 yards long - something to stop them getting beat so easily. some fancy chairs won't get people in, even with a groupon voucher.

Gods country fortnightly
It doesn't matter if CPFC2010 lose every game for the rest of the season 20-0, they reformed and got themselves in the PL only 3 years after folding. For them its mission accomplished, saying that 7 more years it will be probably be CPFC2020....
