After the match last night i still feel as if i was cheated by the French last night.
Fifa wanted the French to be in the world cup right from the start. When they did not qualify from the group Fifa changed them minds about the play offs and introduced seeding.
Henry not only touched the ball once but Twice. What a cheating F...er he is.
I hope they know how they cheated a small nation of glory.

He is a cheat.

All this "its not in his nature" is a load of bull, he is a diver and always has been.

Saying that Keane missed a sitter at 1.0

If Henry is a cheat so is Forster. I have really enjoyed watching both these cheats play.

EVERY player cheats if they think they can get away wth it. Look at Forster's terrible dive last night! Henry has said it was hand ball, its not his fault the referee didnt give it.

why not blame Liam Lawrence for missing a SITTER in the first game, or Duff and Keane for missing good chances in the second game.

France were terrible in BOTH games, and Ireland still didnt win. That to me is a sign that they shouldnt be in the World Cup as much as the Hand of Frog!

But you could say that having to resort to cheating to win a game is a sign that a team shouldn't be in the World Cup.

You cant excuse cheating, yeah Duff should have scored last night but you cant say it's his fault they didn't go through when his side have clearly been cheated out of the game.

Henry's reputation has been probably irreprably sullied by his activities last night. I certainly hope he gets suitably punished (i.e. a 3 minimum 3 match ban) but I suspect the authorities will do nothing.

What's also sad is that we have international refs and assistants that are so poor. It's an absolutely SHOCKING mistake from the officials that the goal isn't disallowed for either offside or handball. They've had a complete 'mare.

No one can excuse cheating, youre right. I was just saying the game should have been put to bed. Henry cheated, he said he did, but its not his fault the referee or lineman didnt see it. Which player would actually stop and tell theref not to give it with so much at stake?

As it happened in real time, I doubt many people watching it on TV saw it until the protests and the replay.

Great player, can anyone seriously admit on here that if you were in the same position trying to get your country to the world cup you wouldn't have done the same?

Sadly you can't point this at the ref or linesmen, they were both unsighted. Sadly it is an indictment of the game these days, Henry knew he could cheat and get away with it so he did. In the past players had more respect for their sport, the supporters, their opponents, nowadays there is just too much at stake, and they don’t give a f*** any more.

How can you sensibly suggest getting a three match ban for what is a bookeable offence?

He actually said that he didn't do it on purpose (well, he did this morning on SSN).

Had the penalty been given a couple of minutes before hand would people ****ing off Anelka? Yeah probably. Why single out Henry? But what if Keane had gone over when he knocked the ball past the keeper? Would that have been ok?

Henry was one of the greatest players of recent times to ply his trade on these shores. Yeah he cheated but at the end of the day so did Anelka a few minutes before and Keane should have done with his chance. At the end of the day Henry and Anelka are going to the world cup Keane isn't, who is the loser?
