Great to see one of our players making a near post run, it puts such pressure on defenders in terms of tracking, and opens up the back post….

Really promising start…… good luck Harry….

His Dad was useful as well….. captained England schoolboys I think.

From BBC website:

Harry Howell became Brighton's youngest player as he made his Premier League debut as a substitute against Liverpool, with the 17-year-old coming on alongside his cousin Jack Hinshelwood.

"[He was] impressive," said the Seagulls' head coach Fabian Hurzeler. "[He has been in] training only weeks now and how he changed and how he adapted to the first team environment - it's a special player for his young age. I always give young players a chance because, for me, it is not about age, it's about if you deserve it then you will play, and if you're good enough you will play. I'm not afraid of giving young players a chance and that is what the club is standing for, so I'm very happy for him.

"I always say every player is important and if you show togetherness every time, if everyone understands his role and if everyone knows that 'if I'm a sub I can have an impact on the game when I come into it'.

"It's also how you prepare as a sub. Are you disappointed? Yes, maybe you're disappointed because you don't start but, you always have to be ready when you come into a game to have an impact on it and therefore, I'm really proud of how the players who came in changed the momentum for us."

Interesting to see Foster Caskeys name. Good luck to him for making a good living out of game but could have achieved so much more. All he was willing to do was sit in center circle playing easy passes.. To play at top level playing in MF is now so much more than that
