I've always thought why would Murray leave you lot to come to Palace. guess being a bigger club with better fans would have something to do with it.

Extra money, Signing on fee, Not having to move from his home, Being the first choice striker when all the other clubs after him already had options, The unsatisfactory offer we made him. I'd say they were the main reasons he joined your lot. The fact it was Crystal Palace probably featured pretty low on his list of reasons.

Yea that's why he decided to join us over a whole load of clubs. Just face it, he left for the bigger and better club. Don't worry though you've still got McKail for a ridiculously high fee, who will inevitably see the error of his ways and join a proper club.

Listen all you slaaaaaaaaaaags. A few kids being escorted by the OB is nothing. The REAL action was taking place on the Palace Pier, the word had gone out to Palace's top boys, led by Nigel Nigelson (but those ITK call him Nige) and he put together a (respect) team of geezers who are not just cheeky scamps, not just naughty, but proper naughty (and I am talking NVQ Grade 4 in Danny Dyer studies no less).

Big Vern, Scratchcard, Longpockets and myself were tooled up with 50p coins, ready to give them a proper part of foot action, and it was just as expected.

A footballer's career is comparatively short. The truth is he opted for the best financial deal his agent could wangle. If Palace had missed out on his signature at the last moment and he went to Millwall or Charlton on higher wages would you still be saying he left Brighton for a bigger and better club ?

And Brighton fans are accused of delusions of grandure. Continue spouting your boring tripe about your decades of mediocrity.

Haha laughable, you've got a stadium you can't fill, an owner you know nothing about and you're always living in our shadow. And that's before we've moved out of Selhurst :bigwave:
Erm! stadium we cannot fill? 3 times this season sold out...and Palace not sold out once...a owner who's family has been connected to Albion longer than you've been on earth and is a Brighton fan.And this mythical stadium of yours has yet to be designed, approved planning permission,built...and paid for!!!...still at penny in the pound you might be able to afford a pitch!

Really? I thought he would have moved up the A23, after all it's such a nice place. Also the club has a superb stadium and loads of fans and lots of money. So I'm suprised he's still hanging around in Brighton.

His girlfriend/partner is from Brighton which is why he chose Palace as it was the nearest offer he could get without moving away.

His exact words to my mate the other day were 'I wouldn't wanna live up there it's a shithole'. Maybe the chirpy deluded Palarse on this site should take that in. Oh BTW fair play to Murray for not celebrating the other night. He would have been a super judas **** had he done that. Now he's still just a standard judas **** :)
