The seaside.
Amsterdam Bar
Bulldog tavern
Dr Brightons
Brighton Rocks
The Regency

Second the Regency. Play-off with the Colonnade for fanciest interior decor, maybe?

None of the others though. Dr B's is passable on a good night but too much of a stag/hen magnet. The rest are shit on a biscuit. The Amsterdam is Yates's for people barred from West Sreet. Brighton Rocks is a scout hut full of people who think they're at the Ritz. The Bulldog is where gay people go to die.

I predict this gong very badly! It's just going to end in an argument between "lager drinkers with no tastebuds" and "real ale beer nazis" with the occasional "cider drinking freak" chirping in.

What about the Craft Beer Militia?

Craft Beer Co is the best pub in Brighton. Simples.

The Fatherland
The Craft and the Evening Star, my little Friday pub crawl.

We have probably bumped into each other at some point then. I tended to have a cheeky drink in the Star before heading to Craft.

Nobody's mentioned the Lord Nelson yet (sorry if I missed it!). However I know its changed Landlord recently and I've not been to Brighton since.

Always was my favourite pub in Brighton. Any seconders?

Brighton
Pull & Pump
St. James
The George (Trafalgar Street)
The Hobgoblin (in it's current guise, I'm fully aware it used to be a hole)

I'll also second Brighton Rocks (though I think its original nomination may have been tounge in cheek!!)

Which Wetherspoons? As far as I'm aware, there are 3 in Brighton & Hove!

Which Wetherspoons? As far as I'm aware, there are 3 in Brighton & Hove!

Actually I had ASSUMED it was the one on West Street which I thought was called Wetherspoons, but it turns out that's called The Bright Helm. And there are three others I know of, all with different names also.

Bugger.

I'm going to replace it with Brighton Rocks instead, which did receive two nominations, one of which appeared to be in jest. However, that'll have to count now!

How about replacing it with the Horse and Groom?
