I often wonder why there's very little, if any, inter breeding in wild birds.

The really funny thing is that I was so fixated on the ducks that I didn't even see the Otter last night. It's only this morning, re reading posts that I realised there was an Otter there

Milky Way from last night.
This was taken just before the pandemic in Loikaw, Myanmar (Burma). The woman is from the Kayah ethnic group, the Kayah women wear capes and heavy metallic rings around their knees. This is encouraged by Kayah men who think that Kayah women are so special and fear that if they don't wear the heavy knee rings to weigh them down they will use their capes to fly away. I often look at the portraits that I took of the group that day and wonder what happened to them during the pandemic.
