For those of you interested in attendances........

you might have noted that LEAGUE 2 Bradford Citys home attendance for the League Cup Semi-Final was higher than that managed by Palace, last season, for the same fixture.

It was also way higher than anything that "premiership chasing" Palace have managed this season.

Well done Bradford ! Great support !

Only turn up for the big games though....

To be fair, their average attendance at home last season was 10,491, in season 2010/11 it was 11,128. It was also well over 10K in 09/10

Without looking it up I would hazard a guess that the Fruit Salads have had the highest average attendances in the bottom league for a fair few seasons now... considering their position and recent battles to stay in the league I would suggest their fans do turn up.

Don't Bradford set their season ticket prices at incredibly affordable rates?

Answering my own question, it's 200 quid if you buy before the end of March.

Can't remember exactly but yeah they do. I have a mate in EP, he's from Sussex, that supports Bradford and has been an STH for a decade now (nutter)... and I always remember thinking it was well priced.

How many posts before the pikeys get wind of this . - 20 ?

It really does not bother me TBH, Bradford are a big club and also in a one club city...bloody good luck to them. Also bloody good luck to Brighton for their good crowds too.

How very dare you! Bradford is NOT a one club city! The Manningham lot aren't even the 'real' Bradford club, they were always Bradford CITY. Bloody Villa, useless load of Premiershite fancy-dans. Up the Avenue!

Villa obviously not the same draw as Arsenal though as they got 23,971 for Arsenal and only 22,245 for the visit of Villa in a semi final, so at least 1726 plastics last night :)

Ooh Major, you'll have all the Nigels verbally masturbating on this thread later, lets see how many you reel in I wonder?

The Nigels are already creaming themselves at the thought of beating Stoke in the replay and attracting a 20k crowd for the 4th round.

Out of interest, how many times in the last 20 years have we recorded a higher average attendance than Palace?
