"Participation based on sporting merit" this is the main issue for me - how far back do you go for the "sporting merit" ? Forrest have have a bigger claim than Arsenal based on European Cup wins Spurs and Newcastle have even less claim

Similar to Manchester United, Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have said they won't be participating in the Super League and view it as "an attack on the importance of the national leagues."

Some questions off the top of my head:
How will the 32 team third division work? They obviously can't play everyone home and away.
If you get relegated out of the european third division what happens? Do the 20 odd extra players you have assembled for playing in a European league just join the domestic team?
What happens if that is far too expensive for clubs so they just play their u-21s and a few fringe players in their domestic league and end up getting relegated a division or two in their domestic leagues?
What happens if that is what the big teams who can afford two squads do anyway? If they can't be arsed paying for two squads so use the domestic league as a league for their kids? Can you really play in the championship/league one and win the European first division and still claim that the domestic leagues haven't been affected?
How do you get promoted to the European third division? Even with 20 spots available how do you decide who gets them? Are there qualifying rounds/a playoff before the season starts?
Does that mean that teams would then have a couple of weeks to buy a new teams worth of players so they can compete domestically and in the European league? Or are we back to playing the U21s in the domestic league?
Would that mean that for clubs like Brighton their (probably) one European season would end up with relegation from both Europe and the premier league? So 12 months after being one of the best teams in the country they'd end up in the 2nd tier domestically and having to sell all their best players? Some reward for success that would be.

To be fair he was very publicly vocal last time, even to the extent of suggesting the big six who initially wanted it get punished.

I can't see clubs having an A and B team. One playing in our domestic league and the other in the super league. If the B team got promoted to the ESL then it could happen that the A and B teams from the same club could play against each other.
The only people this benefits is Juve/Barca/Real who are completely screwed.

there obivouly will be key rules to keep the big pgs at the table - if no restriction, over say 10 years the "star" legue could be filled with english PL teams
so, an english team could only enter at the blue league of the 20 if an english team drops out..............

You know that's not really a thing right? They occasionally have a banner pop out of the score line at the top of the screen for a few seconds every now and again. Otherwise it's ads at half time and that's it.

I tried watching American Football once - I think it was the Super Bowl. Literally unwatchable. They’d spend 5 minutes lining up, then a man would throw the ball to the quarterback, another man would catch it - then they’d all jump up and down celebrating and chest bumping as if they’d just won the lottery.
Then it would cut away to an advert, then they’d come up and the commentators/pundits would spout a load of old shit for 20 seconds, then an another advert…
