There is another family who, from a playing perspective, are probably more "Albion" than even the Hinshelwoods.
John Shepherd joined Albion from Millwall in 1958. He went on to score 19 goals for Albion. He re-joined the club in the mid-1970s as youth team manager.
His son, Dominic, was a YTS trainee (equivalent to today's scholars) in 1994-95 and 1995-96 (and scored numerous goals for the U-18s).
And now, Dominic's son is a player in the Albion U-9 side (alongside, as it happens, Adam Hinshelwood's younger son and Jack's younger brother).
