amazing achievement by both teams making the final

Frankfurt finished 11th in the Bundesliga and probably start favourites

hopefully though Rangers will win

Might have finished 11th in the Bundesliga, but Frankfurt had WAY too much class for West Ham to deal with over two legs. Will be amazed if Rangers can come anywhere close to troubling them tonight

I would put my money on Frankfurt though think it will be very tight. Pretty excited about the game which doesnt happen for me in the EL every year. Though Roma vs Feyenoord next week is even fatter.

They beat Dortmund and Leipzig, both considered better teams in Germany.

Considered and far better than Frankfurt in Germany this season.

That's true, but wins in this competition against Barcelona and West Ham means they are not a bad side. It seems they have not taken the last few games of their league seriously in preparation for this game. Bookies make them slight favourites.

Spanish police have said Frankfurt Ultras have attacked both Rangers fans and the police over the last 24 hours, arrests made of Frankfurt fans.

Yeah most reports say the Germans have been causing the majority of incidents.

The first European club final I’ve been excited about for years.
Strange and interesting to me to see some English don’t want Rangers/Scotland to do well.

No Bundesliga team will be poor, having that German resilience.

The betting markets accurately reflecting just three Scottish European trophies in 67 years, the last Taggart’s in 1983.

total nerd alert

Brighton is almost EXACTLY equidistant between Frankfurt and Glasgow, at around 625km from the centre of each city as the crow flies...
