I wasn't going to be drawn into this but having lived in West Yorkshire for 33 years I am very used to living and working with immigrants.
My children went to school with them. I am very proud of the schooling that they received. My son is a Station Officer in the Fire Brigade and my daughter is a Chartered Tax Accountant.
Going to school and living with immigrants of all nationalities certainly didn't hold them back. Their lives were enriched by learning about all the different cultures around them.

Of course, because when I see British children held back because of people who cant speck the native language then the native students should be taught individually, not to would British kids back.
