I feel I’ve been slowly conditioned by crappy VAR decisions like one of Pavlov’s dog’s this season and VAR stepping in to make minuscule offside decisions - so no, didn’t react on Saturday- unless it’s a clear and obvious goal, I’ve been subliminally conditioned now not to react to a goal until VAR has stepped in and completed the review - even worse, the build up to goals has lost an edge - it was bad enough to watch poor finishing last season after a great build up now I’m considering the xG in any one match being overturned by VAR which blunts the edge of competitive football for me At live football matches, more than once I’ve been standing there looking glum while others around me are celebrating until VAR has stepped in but at least I haven’t experienced the letdown when the goal has been overturned. Bloody ridiculous way to watch a football match imo.
