De Bruyne looks to be an excellent prospect, but don't think there would be room for him at Brighton.
I dunno, reckon we could have probably accommodated him with the benefit of hindsight

Fascinated by this ability to lift up threads from 13 years ago…
In what way? It really wasn't that much of an achievement...
I don’t get it. What relevance does this thread have to the current post?
I saw the news that KDB was leaving and, instead of starting a brand new thread over a relatively trivial (but big in terms of PL news) matter, I thought I'd search to see if there was one that mentioned him and add it to that. This one came up, so I BOUNCED away!

A thousand apologies to those who are put out by my actions

Not at all put out. Just whenever I’ve tried to search something from a few days ago, I can never find it. More just applauding the effort.

Put out is a bit strong. Just hard to tell what the new stuff is going to be from thread title about a situation at Chelsea when de Matteo was manager.

My preference would be for posts like this to be new threads if there is no recent thread on the player in question. I get that in the grand scheme of things my preference matters very little.

I think the overall 'meh'-filled response to the bounce suggests that starting a new thread would be a complete and utter waste of Internet space :lolol:

If anything, I tend to be intrigued as to why old threads are bounced, so just click 'jump to new' and all is revealed. Five-second job, to paraphrase the great and the good of NSC

It's incredible looking back all those years where we thought KdB may have come here on loan, not knowing at the time what a huge part of the all winning City team he would be. Even more incredible is to think that since then we've purchased, played and sold players of equal caliber to KdB.
