If you think it is sterile and rubbish why bother going ?

Or do you like to do things you dislike ?

To be honest I made a point and defended my football club. I do like Brighton and whilst the concourse is bleak inside the ground is light and spacious. I enjoy going to live football and will most probably go to Brighton when certain teams visit ie Leeds. This has gone a little too far but at the same time as I kept getting insults I decided to have a bit of fun and respond whilst getting more bites

Does not seem a fair comparison - 1 is the sea on a bad day and the other is a football ground on a blue sky day

You're right

Fairer ?

I am loving reading all this from a tin pot club who had some Spanish non-league style day today. Sunderland will forever draw in a bigger manager than Brighton and Di Canio should be given more time but quite possibly in this day and age will not which is a real shame. I would hate to see Pulis but as long as anyone keeps Sunderland I dont care
So only fans of clubs bigger than Sunderland should be able to take the piss out of Di Canio?

I do and I go as often as is possible now that I live on the south coast, when I lived within 100 miles I had a season ticket!

I may have been a little harsh with the tin pot statement but that was due to comments about PDC been bought in - this decision was by our chairman who has plowed millions in to the club, where as your club decides to have days such as spanish days which in my view is a little strange for a team chasing the top league (which I have said many times before I hope you do)

I am surprised how many have said that they do not want fans from other clubs, but when I had my season ticket and sat in the north stand there was a large majority around me that did not support Brighton as there first team and like me had chosen the lure of a good level of football in a new stadium to buy a ticket and in the end assist you with bringing the players in that you have (I very much enjoyed watching Bridge last year as I suspect most did)

So you big-up your amazing 'contribution' to Brighton & Hove Albion (along with being the mouthpiece for other Pastics) - & then accuse the club of being "tin pot"? Has it ever occurred to you that the tin pottery is down to you & your ilk - who haven't got a clue what this club means to proper supporters; & haven't got the courage of their own supposed-convictions which would mean actively supporting their own sodding club(s)? No, of course not. Frankly, the ST Tourists up at Falmer would gain more of my respect even if they stayed at home & followed the plight of their 'proper' team on matchdays: rather than damning their 'adopted club' with their lack of support & feint praise.

A friend of mine read his autobiography many years ago. He said most chapters seemed to end with him leaving somewhere and him claiming they didn't "understand" him.

You called us 'tinpot' in post 10, and there was really nothing in posts 1-9 to warrant that, except some negative opinions on Di Canio. I imagine a fair few Sunderland fans have similar views.

Let's not fall out, you clearly have at least a small amount of affinity for the albion.

I dont see how I am wrong, it is frustrating but I have no reason to take it out on another club, I am here as I live local so find it interesting look at my other posts which are not related to Di Canio or Sunderland and they are reasonable normal posts.

I love the look of your next four games.

Liverpool (with Suarez) Home
Man United Home
Swansea Away
Newcastle Home

You won't be chatting this shite when you've got 1 point from 9 games and are still rock bottom of the table.

I was there the season we went down with the lowest points ever from the Prem, then again a couple of years later when we did it again, and if I still lived close enough I would do again now. Even through all of that and as bad as it got I would always stick up for my club as its long been a joke as Sunderland fans that it will never be an easy and ultimately successful ride. So yes I would be saying the same then as I am now

Fair play to him for facing them down. Probably gone by Monday though.

There we go.Pretty predictable really. You don't face down your own fans. Good luck to the club if they want to repeat going down the foreign nutter manager route, but strongly suspect they won't.
