:bla:

Here's a radical thought for you: Piss off & actually 'support' your own club, you patronising tosser. You won't be missed at The Albion.

I do and I go as often as is possible now that I live on the south coast, when I lived within 100 miles I had a season ticket!

I may have been a little harsh with the tin pot statement but that was due to comments about PDC been bought in - this decision was by our chairman who has plowed millions in to the club, where as your club decides to have days such as spanish days which in my view is a little strange for a team chasing the top league (which I have said many times before I hope you do)

I am surprised how many have said that they do not want fans from other clubs, but when I had my season ticket and sat in the north stand there was a large majority around me that did not support Brighton as there first team and like me had chosen the lure of a good level of football in a new stadium to buy a ticket and in the end assist you with bringing the players in that you have (I very much enjoyed watching Bridge last year as I suspect most did)

The fact remains Di canio has signed a bunch of shite players he is clearly out of his depth and I'm finding it hilarious as I cannot stand Sunderland.

Sunderland were sleepwalking towards relegation last season under MON, so in that respect I think PDC came in and "did a job" - he seemed to give the squad a jolt it badly needed when he steered them to safety. But he's getting found out now. Far too cumbustible a character, he seems to go public on ALL the displinary matters which must piss the players off no end, and its probably fairly horrific working with this guy day-to-day. I doubt he'll last till Christmas, the players will see to that.

What the hell has celebrating Spanish day got to do with us chasing promotion?

You've shown yourself up to be a complete ignoramus on this thread Wakeytom. Come back when you've got something worthwhile to contribute.

Such things as Spanish days should stay at non league level and not that of a Premiership chasing team

Di Canio is great entertainment. Unless you're a Sunderland fan. Hope they keep him a while longer just so the rest of us can have a laugh.

Why? I've seen lots of photos and it seemed as though a lot of people had fun alongside watching the football.

What model should we follow?

I suppose he wants us to be depressed and unemployed and watching football as our only escape from financial and societal decline, where the desperately suppressed meet and find common ground and hold each other without a second of guilt in moments of joy. Fingers crossed, we'll all be that one day and football grounds will be again those rickety and characterless pissholes of yore that gruffly fart in the face of any colourful and welcoming expression. Only then will football be as it's meant to be. And if we can hire an outwardly fascist scumbag to be in charge then that makes surely the portrait of the perfect football world.

I am talking about creating an atmosphere that a Spanish day does not do. One thing I found at the Amex was the lack of it. Everyone I go to football with are happy in there lives, middle class with professional jobs, but on a Saturday enjoy going to a game with a good atmosphere (not singing where the north stand etc etc) and good craic with fellow fans. You talk about characterless and whilst the Amex does look amazing when rolling along the south downs once inside it is very grey and bleak

So in the concourse of the North stand where I had my season ticket is not not concrete floors and similar walls with a selection of photos (which I admit are a nice touch)

If you think it is sterile and rubbish why bother going ?

Or do you like to do things you dislike ?
