It's Nick's harem!!!! PHWOARRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!

Is that Nick third from the left? If so, I guess it must be a trick of the light or something, but his skin definitely looks a shade darker than the other three.

Are you really? I thought left wing politics was all about looking for an excuse why you cant do something incase it offends someone and looking after the minorities! The sort of thing we're fighting against to get the stadium at Falmer really!

My version of left wing is to protect those vunerable in society and by progressive taxation of the rich, redistribute the wealth of the economy to those who need it rather than those with the most powerful voice.

The trouble is the press in this country is so right wing it is untrue. Elections are won and lost by which party the Sun supports, which says more for the electorate of this country that anything.

Human nature, or greed if you like drives our society and the more this happens then the vunerable, the disabled and the people on the lowest rung of the ladder will always suffer. Such is the consumerist society we live in.

My concern for the young people in our society is as house prices continue to spiral and student loans continue to grow unchecked, then the bottom section of our society gets wider and wider.

With regards to terrorism, I am very sceptical about the way western governments pour millions of dollars into states they regard as supporters on the War on Terrorism. Yes there have been horrendous acts of terrorism, but it just seems that the current excuse for our ills seem to be laid at the door of todays whipping boys, ie the Muslims. Who will be next? Black people, Yellow people, left handed people....

Most of them look foreign nationals to me.Of course they will support a ban on the BNP.They are frightened if the BNP got in they would boot them straight back out

My mothers a foriegn national (Spanish to most of us, but no doubt a Spik to you:rolleyes: ), she's lived here for 45 years, a retired nurse. You're in mid-sussex, she's in mid-sussex, when can she expect you and you're BNP mates to come round and send her home.

As has already been pointed out, give you a funny beard, a Simon Jordan tan, and a rather fetching turban you'd be a spot on Taliban. Just as bigotted, just as reactionary, just as fundementatlist and just as easily led, and not very bright.

I once had the mis-fortune of meeting a Christian fudimentalist when in the US, made Bin Laden sound like a bloody mamby pamby liberal, only I would hazard a guess that bin laden didn't smell as bad. Personally if you put the words religion and fundimentalist toghter you'll get an arsehole regradless of persuation. The Muslims are basically doing what the Catholic church did 500 years ago, run by a bunch of zealots who are out of touch with reality.
As for the BNP, same as the SWP but arguably not quite as smelly, but both are still a beacon for the the disenchated and dis- enfranchised ...

Hitler not only tried to wipe out the Jews, but also many ethnic minorities, the disabled, gypsies, romanys, downs syndrome etc etc etc...and (I,m sure this will bring a wry smile to Tom Hark)... Freemasons .
It is thought that the figure is around 11 million in total.

Oh I know that. I'm just wondering why algie was hinting that it's the Jews fault that the other 5 million have supposedly been forgotten about.

Thankyou for your reply....................I am genuinely interested in your reply.......and would be interested in Southover Street Seagull,s reply too....except that in each of his three replies regarding the programme, he digressed on to White fundamentalists or the Taliban.

I haven't watched the programme yet so can't comment on it.
If you actually read what I have said you will see I have said CHRISTIAN fundamentalist NOT WHITE fundamentalist.
Also if you see what I say about the Taleban I have nothing but contempt for them and their philosophy.
When I watch the programme I will give you my views on it. But it's safe to say if some of the views on it are extreme I will disagree with them. Whether they are from christain, muslim, black or white.

No I think what you are quoting there is called Liberalism or political correctness.

We have tried Labours approach but that has failed miserably.Prisons are crammed packed.Sicko's like Huntley living in accommodation fit for the Ritz. Male mudering muslims sneaking out of this country wearing a veil.75% of our laws govern by Europe.Human rights act supports the villains and not the law abiding citizen. Asbos and tagging don't work.I give up

Yeah that all may be true Algie, but the trouble is mate is that New Labour isn't Left Wing. Tony Blair is in the centre of politics.
If he was Left Wing why did he privatise the air traffic control service? Why did he force part privatisation on to the the London Underground? Hardly the act of a Left Wing Socialist!

Thanks for your reply.....apologies for saying white fundamentalists and not Christian fundamentalists. Am off to the States in the morning, and there is an outside chance I will be able to go to a Christian fundamentalists meeting. Hoping it will be possible.....I want to be able to see first hand what some of them spout about.
I,m in the same boat of most I,m sure, of having deep reservations about any extremist group. There will always be extremists I,m afraid, but what I,m most interested in, is the effect the bile they spew out has on the audience.Something that last night,s programme failed to show.
By the way, I,m a cynical bugger at the best of times, so I,m fairly confident I won,t return to these shores in a white gown and a funny pointed hat...!
