I cut the grass at a school (takes 20 mins) still need £10mill PL
ask your local traveler community, know how to dig and relay a bit of tarmac and not too bothered about insurance?
It's not about it being a simple job.
The £10m public liability insurance is in place for any work an approved contractor can do. This crossover job would evidently be merely a small job in comparison to what they're allowed to do.
My now ex has to have seven-figure public liability insurance for her school. It's not necessarily what any damage might be about; it is, with all things like this, there to cover the largest costs of any claim - the sodding solicitors.
I had all the Bollocks from the council about eight years ago when widening gateway..They wanted approval from highways, planning application, curved radius, sightlines improved, kerb stones there were none, approved contractors etc etc.Sounded like 10k job. I hired mini digger did work in long afternoon inc hanging 10ft gate to replace eight foot one. Labour say £100 gate and post £120 digger hire £120.
