Shows how little attention I've been paying to QPR - what's this about?

I'd imagine one more game for Green triggers either a contract extension, or cash bonus..

From The Daily Mail

Rob Green opens up on QPR exile: 'I'm desperate to play...this is hurting me'

  • Rob Green has not played for QPR since New Year's Day
  • The veteran goalkeeper has lost his place on the grounds of cost
  • If Green plays 30 league games this season, he earns a contract extension
  • QPR are keen to offload the England international stopper

What a great way to run a football club. Hopefully they will send the money saved on his contract to charity, to help pay off the 57m debt.

Is a draw a catastrophe?

As an economist, you should realise Brexit (Brighton exit from automatic promotion) could be devastating to the Albion financial position and costing each supporter.............

Naaaah,thats all cobblers 3-0 to the Albion:albion2:

.....and maybe too busy thinking about the permutations from Burnley vs.'Boro?

I just hope we win - without having to hang on to a one goal lead for the last half hour!

It was nice last Friday having a two goal cushion at half-time. Uncharted Territory!

An nsc poster (forget who it was) watched them at the weekend against Cardiff and they only mustered up one shot all game.
Said they were just going thru the motions.
I'm personally not in the least bit worried about QPR

If he really wanted to play he could just agree to cancel the extension contract.

I did think that, however I imagine there's not much use in playing Green if the club want rid of him in the summer anyway.
With nothing to play for, they may as well give their longer term keepers as much game time as possible.

Maybe if they were contenders for the play-offs, it could have been a consideration.

Perhaps they should have discussed this earlier (well, maybe they did, but one or both parties dug their heels in and made it difficult) then he could have moved on in January - either on loan, or following the cancelling of his contract.

Mind you, I expect money plays a big part in all this, especially if he's on megabucks............................
