Well, we know this team can score goals. We're going to need to show something special this second half. Hoping for some RDZ tactical changes because I'd have used some subs after the 3rd goal. Lets hope he's right.
Of course its easy to say it from here, but genuinely at 1-0 down and 20 mins in, I was saying we need to change something in midfield as its not working and we're being over run.

RDZ looked like Potter tonight, watched passively as madness unfolded, seemingly impotent to do anything

Why single out Webster? Our two central defenders have been left so woefully exposed by the tactics and lack of effort from other players.

The whole team has been a weak link.
They’re not all shit, no way. Caicedo and MacA have done their best, in a rearguard action surrounded by half asleep team mates.

Everton ALWAYS play 5 big units who can run in midfield.

Should’ve matched that number.

We are not very good at defending transitions. Never have been under RDZ. That’s the exchange for the free flowing attacking football and why we’re often better against ‘good’ teams

In that 45 it just all came in one go, but those signs have been there for a while

What on earth is with these crosses into the back post? Buonanotte hard a tall fella. Lots of lazy passing in their half being simply dealt with.
Crosses into the box are as effective as our corners (every game) and free kicks, madness to keep doing this time after time with the defenders Everton have

This game and the Forest one have been totally self inflicted.
No point saying VAR has cost us when we put in performances like those.

He needs to look t himself first. Arrogant team selection!
We are playing badly, very badly, but where does the arrogant bit come from? He’s picked the team he feels would win, he wants to win just as much as anyone else.

I was expecting this one to be ‘tight’ … errrmmm maybe we’re tired, maybe we’ve put out the wrong team, maybe we’re just having a bad, bad night.

Not expecting too much tbh, keep it to 3-1 ish and at least it’s not a total and utter disaster…

It’s a bit sad though… this was a winnable game… however it’s not about margins tonight, purely about us strolling and swaggering about… we’re only as good as our performances and this is frankly lamentable.

Dyche has done us (again) in that first half.

That was a tactical fiasco. No getting away from it. No changes of tempo. One touch passing prevented. Out-thought by Dyche, the Everton forwards unexpectedly direct and clinical, constantly one short when they attack. That was a completely unrecognizable half of football.

Its so congested in the middle, but Mitoma and Buonanotte arent offering enough on the switch out wide. Then when they get it they keep crossing it onto Everton heads every time, need something more incisive.
