They are bastards. worst Police in the country. I tend to find that most Police are very friendly as long as you're friendly to them. I was one of the people handing out leaflets about Falmer at last year's Labour Party Conference, There were Police from all over the place but none from the Met that I saw. They were all friendly and wished us the best for Falmer as well as saying how much they liked Brighton fans as we're not trouble makers.

They were all pretty scathing about the Met though and I've heard similar comments from all over the country about Britain's biggest force.

I think its because of the environment they work under mate, i mean not wishing to slate the area of my club but South Norwood, Thornton Heath and the whole Selhurst territory must be a nightmare to police what a crime infested hellhole! And that is just one part of South East london and its a massive city so it doesnt take a lot of working out. Still there is no excuse for thug policing.

however, a lot of those that went to spurs are those that never go anywhere else. i know several people who went as closet brighton fans

however, the thought that there could be violence as it is palace away on a tuesday night will put a lot of those closet fans off

Shock horror probe, I lived there too four four years (Gipsy Hill actually) and believe me there are worse places, some of the North and Midland Cities make South London look pretty good. Start with Moss Side, then try Scottie Road in Liverpool. There are some horrible areas in North. West, and East London too.

They just get away with more, the Bill is pure bollox.
