Well, if we had already completed the transition and were out out, and not just out, we probably would not be included in the EU ventilator build and supply scheme, which would likely mean more deaths in the UK. If we were out out, and not just out, customs officers and truckers would probably not be able to be "socially distant" which would likely mean more deaths in the UK, and probably elsewhere in Europe. Then there is the EU workers in the NHS, driving the trucks to supermarkets etc. If we had not wasted billions on no deal planning, our currency devalued etc. we might have been a bit better able to fund the NHS without quite so much borrowing.

God bless the EU FFS !!!
Regards
DF

Sure they said the NHS has whatever it requires money wise to fight this pandemic in the budget and have backed it up since, what does coronavirus have to do with Brexit ???

But back to your original post on the matter... what has increased money for the NHS - £40bn, £2:50, it doesn't matter - got to do with Brexit?

(The answer, as previously stated, is nothing whatsoever. In itself Brexit means less money for every public service. If more money is found, it comes from debts or taxes being increased by more than they otherwise would have been.)

But...but...but...if the Government refuses to join EU-wide ventilator and PPE-procurement programmes, leaving us chronically short of both, because to do so would "betray Brexit", how do they justify this?

I still haven’t seen anyone, Government, Leave UK, Farage’s Brexit PLC, Leave means Leave, anyone, come up with any tangible benefit to leave.
It really did go from sheer stupidity, to utter madness.

Still? I thought they'd moved on to shouting "STAY AT HOME! PROTECT THE NHS! SAVE LIVES!" in response to being criticised about stuff like prioritising introducing a new badge over giving health workers PPE...

He’s not blaming Brexit, he’s blaming the Government for incompetence in supplying the required amount of PPE, not providing tests for medics, not supplying sufficient respirators and then, using their ‘protect the NHS etc ‘spiel to divert criticism.

Looks like you’ve fallen for it.

So why bring it up on the Brexit thread trying to score points, shame on all of you.

You really can’t take any criticism of this Government , can you?
The fact that they have turned down any sort of EU offered assistance, just because of anti EU dogma, has and will cost lives.

Have they no shame.

I've notice there seems to be a bit of a cross over going on, daily mail and brexit, Obvs! . . . and maybe just maybe, covid too? oh yes please!

covid 19 is all caused by bi-curious muslamic immigrant remoaners who eat bats from Wu-hottingdean and piss in saltdeam Lido on purpose.

possibly
