Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
I went on 3 marches for People's Vote, collectively 2.7m people. The only trouble I saw was at the last one was an angry leaver barging his way through parliament square announcing himself as the peoples representative and looking for a fight. He was ignored.

Hope the leavers enjoy themselves on the 31st, I wish them no ill. There is a Whetherspoon's in Westminster they will glad to hear

Are they charging £50 entrance fee, like dear old man of the people, Nige?

Gonna be a cracking do, that Friday feeling, plenty of decent boozers around Westminster, thousands of positive people in a party mood, what’s not to like?

On our way.

You, Two Profs, Ppf, Mouldy Boots, Nigel Farage, Gerard Batten, Henry Bolton, Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, Jacob Rees-Mogg, Mark Francois, Anne Widdecombe and Boris Johnson all going out for a beer together ?

Sounds absolutely delightful, but I think I'll give it a miss. I'm washing my hair :lolol:

Are you using the Donald Trump/Diane Abbott crowd counting method? More like the same few hundred thousand people repeatedly demanding we all vote again because they didn't like the previous outcome.

Especially amusing considering so many of them bang on about the leave campaign making misleading claims ..

On the subject of attendances at things, could you tell us...

What were the numbers at Britain's biggest pro-Brexit March?

What do you estimate will be the attendance at the Amex by the end of the season?

How many people frequent Weatherspoons pubs in an average week?

Just glancing at the first of your links, I note the reference to 'it doesn't mean that the figures were wrong' and the gentle suggestion that the quoted figures may be 'on the high side'. Shock horror.

Let keep to the subject that matters, bongs gone wrong or numbers on marches are trivial

We're still waiting for benefits of Brexit in what has been a poor week of economic data, job losses, divestment from the UK and a large government subsidy to a failing business.

Time for the Brexiters to deliver

You should have read the other two as well, not just the first.
Whilst in the first article Full Fact cant say for sure as the Manchester Metropolitan University Crowd Science Dept wasn’t able to assist, they put the estimate on the high side and do dispute the methodology the peoples march used.
In the 2nd and 3rd articles, that you didn’t read, there are links to input from the Manchester Metropolitan University Crowd Science Dept who definitely do dispute the peoples march claims.
Even if you take the first 670,000 as gospel it still doesn’t add up to anywhere near 2.7 million.
I don’t think anyone is surprised the average remoaner(not the same as remainer) believes 2.7 million to be accurate.

The time for petty arguments about numbers and marches is over. After the 31st, Brexit and it’s supporters are going to have to start delivering on their promises. We shall see what they are made of soon enough. The usual excuses and bluff will not be enough.
I hope they can live up to the hype. If not, they have a lot of blood on their hands.

Indeed, there is nowhere to hide.

These liars will have their feet to the coals for the next 5 years, a massive deficit to make up from Brexit day, human, capital and reputation cost to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland

Yep, now have a commons majority and Brexiteers in charge. No one else to blame, Let’s hope they are as good as they think they are. Not started well, Boris has already spectacularly failed on one of his most simplistic promises, to ring the Big Ben Brexit Bong.

Indeed. Though, look at their idiotic reactions to the suggestion they take some responsibility now. Goons.
I genuinely think they are so dense and merely concerned with believing we are somehow “free” that you could throw the party, bong the bell at 11pm and then not actually leave the EU afterward and most brexiteers would be none the wiser.

“Have we left”?

You heard the bell, it’s all over.

“Brilliant”

Yep *throws Brexit deal papers in the bonfire and continues as normal*

As long as there is a press release every few weeks bashing foreigners and saying how well we are doing, I think we’d get away with it. Maybe put some bunting up just to be sure.
