[Albion] Brajan Gruda, what does he do?

This guy's touch and ball control is unreal.

You could see the squad already thought this, from his earlier cameo appearances where they let him take freekicks.

But my word, today...

I said a few weeks back I wanted him to start in place of O'Riley. Gruda with regular game time and connection to the other players.

Will be a more technical, faster, younger, Pascal Gross.

He's special.

And for those that missed it. He does take a boot to the knee in the first 10 minutes in their penalty area. The delayed fall means that he can't get the penalty but the clear contact is surely the reason he did not get a yellow card for diving.
I wondered that ...... sitting in my seat in the WSU, miles away, it looked like he flung himself to the floor, but I did think he must have had a touch to do that.

A totally different player down the middle than when he was pushed out wide for most of his early appearances, where he really deosnt have the pace or strength to make much impact. Very exciting seeing him in that playmaker role. Him, George, and Facu next season all competing for that shirt could be really exciting.
Yep it was similarly frustrating last season watching Buonanotte on the wing where he clearly wasn’t effective because his lack of pace made his play too one-dimensional and Gruda had a lot of that early on this season. Last season we had no fit wingers tho so it was an emergency thing, not sure that quite tracks for this season tho. Anyway we have got there in the end - for me it means we have 3 summer signings now that I have no reservations about whatsoever - and probably four soon once Yalcouye gets stuck in

Perhaps Pedro is better than them both in that position?

And then, where does O'Riley, Facu or Enciso get a game next season.

Ridiculously competitive in that position!!
At another club I imagine.

IMO - one of the best ever Amex performances by an individual.
Outstanding.

Just wish he’d shoot sometimes…..

Could be one of our great signings…..
I raise you Aaron Connolly’s one match that got him labelled a 50 million player on here 😃

It was good but not Knockaert v Massive, or Vicente good.
Yeah - or Hazard tearing us a new one.

He looked quality last night, but it’s going to be a bumpy road next season with lots of ups and downs, he’s still a very young player playing in the most competitive top division in the world.

Let’s not all shit the bed when he has bad games and runs of bad form in the future

I did say ‘one of the best’ and even 7 hours later it was…..
