Oh yes, the passes. Unreadable, first time rapiers.Visible uplift in his confidence after his goal last week. Thought he was exceptional last night…..silky running with the ball and some glorious passes. Never stopped pressing either.

It’s a funny thing to critique a player on, but I know what you mean, Gruda does everything he can to stay on his feet.Compared to Pedro in that same position, 1) he didn’t slow play down and moved the ball on quickly / drove forward causing massive gaps and 2) didn’t fall over a lot.
Just needs a lesson or two from Glenn on how to fall like a sack of potatoes when clipped in the area.
Takes a bloody good penalty too!Absolutely outstanding tonight. MOTM by a mile. Truly superb performance. Starts in that 10 role. Terrorised the Liverpool defence.
Technically very, very exciting player. But he showed everything tonight. Drive, tenacity, speed, movement. His close control and balance is quite something. And takes a bloody good corner too!![]()
Au contraire.Well colour me staggered it turns out it might not be ahit after all.
Next we'll be suggesting the manager isn't clueless.
Amazing what using or dropping an S can doAu contraire.
Methinks we're now all going OTT about him being a hit, whereas earlier reports were that he was shit.
That's the emotional rollercoaster for you.
It's a shame the Welbz shot after Gruda's backheel was saved. That whole move was incredible and would have topped the lot.I'd say after Mitoma's majestic finish, and Baleba's THUNDERBOLT, I'd say Ayari's goal last night is up there with goal of the season, the one touch was beautiful.
