Palace will be next to be interested in him.....

As soon as Beaky achieves the bargain bucket £495m price tag he’s put on the SEGW this time, then yes, they could well be in the frame.

We don't need to sell anyone. So like last close season with Ben White, a bank transfer of circa £50m or greater is the only thing that will make Uncle Tony say yes.
What a position to be in! Methinks he holds all the aces!

We do have to sell Bissouma if he won’t extend his contract because we really should not burn £30m+ for one season’s service from the midfield general. It’s just not fair that Uncle Tony bails us out each season with 10’s of millions. This is not sustainable.

Luckily, they’ll be an almighty bidding war for this chap. I wonder hie much the most expensive player ever sold was (with a year left on their contract)? He could get close.

There seems to be a growing amount of non-Premier League sides showing interest.
I'd much prefer he joined Monaco or Juventus rather than Villa or Newcastle.

A bidding war should definitely keep the transfer fee high, regardless of the 1 year left on his contract. Roma are the latest club rumoured to be interested

I'm not so sure we don't need to. Not specifically related to the Bissouma situation, but the club's model seems to be based on bringing in young, (relatively) low-cost talent, developing them and then selling them on. I can't see any other reason why the club would have about 48 players out on loan...

Tony doesn't want to see the club carry on making massive losses, so making a load of cash on, say, Bissouma, Cucurella or anyone else is almost essential – assuming there are replacements either already in the squad or available at affordable prices.

Too right. You don't want your best players lined up against you next season. If he contributes to knocking us out of the Champions League the following season, i'll accept that

Would be nice to see him move to a club abroad.

£20-25m seems likely

Depends. If there's more than one club interested it'll be a lot more than that.

While the contract length restricts his value, he's worth whatever Bloom is prepared to lose on him in a year's time. No one knows that but £30 million would still be a steal.

If Bloom can’t get what he wants for him, he could be “railroaded” into signing a contract extension with a fixed release cause in January or even this summer after he’s signed the extension. Otherwise he’ll have to potentially wait another year.

Can’t see Bloom being bent over a barrel on this by clubs taking the piss with their offers. He’s a 50 million plus player

And how / why is Bissouma going to sign that deal ?

The added thing to consider here is Bloom might see this as golden opportunity to sneak in to Europe. We were only 5 points West Ham in 7th last year, despite two long barren runs. We’ve never been closer to being ‘the best of the rest’.

Newcastle are obviously going to spend a lot and improve, but they’re still at least a season away from being a proper force.
Everton and Fat Frank aren’t going to seriously challenge
Wolves were in free fall and are losing a lot of key players.
Leicester are still reliant on Vardy who turns 36 next season.
Villa will throw money around but are they did that last season and went nowhere.

A lot of the teams you’d expect to be challenging for 7th seem to be at the end (or start) of a cycle. Realistically this is one of the best chances somebody like us or Palace or even Brentford might have of taking a European spot for a while. Add in Man.U potentially being even more of a dumpster fire next year as ETH has to completely change the ethos of the club and suddenly gambling on keeping Bissouma in a push for Europe makes a bit of sense.
